Cervantes, maestro universal

The purpose of the Polymath Virtual Library is to preserve and disseminate the contribution of the Spanish thought to a universal culture and there is no better lesson than the one Miguel de Cervantes offers in his texts.

The first editions of Cervantes’ works and a large amount of author’s works or about the author in Spanish and other languages can be accessed directly from this author’s library. The works on whose authorship of Cervantes there is doubt are also listed.

The panorama on Cervantes and his work is completed with a series of recommended links where the reader will also find reliable information and good digital editions. In this way ourCervantes, universal genius Virtual Library expands and enriches with links to quality resources that other institutions have prepared both from this same library as well as from the authority record of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra that we showed earlier, in which there is also a section with connected and opened links in accordance with the Linked Open Data initiative of the W3C.
