Presentation from the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation

The Virtual Library of Visigothic and Mozarabic Writers is the result of the collaboration between the University of Salamanca and the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation. This microsite is composed of the digital studies of a selection of authors from the Visigothic and Mozarabic periods.

It is the intention of the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation that this project should grow over time, bringing in new texts, documents and even compilations of all kinds to give us a clearer idea of life in Spain during the "dark" centuries of the Middle Ages, with the maximum reliability that comes from rigorous publishing.

All these Visigothic and Mozarabic authors have their own independent entries and can be consulted together with the studies on each of them prepared by the academics:

María Adelaida Andrés Sanz

David Paniagua Aguilar

José Carlos Martín Iglesias

Salvador Iranzo Abellán

All the studies were expressly commissioned by the Ignacio Larramendi Foundation and were carried out under the direction of the professor doctor Carmen Codoñer.
